Rabbits have a long and varied history of being absolute nuisances in ancient texts, and so for the first piece in this collection I wanted one that not only honoured my scottish heritage, but also doing something that would probably annoy me personally. Hence this wonderful piece, taken straight from the Verdun Breviary this 1302-1305 French manuscript contains some of the best examples of marginalia including this wonderful rabbit playing bagpipes.
Saw pierced from sterling silver sheet, I saw and solder these pieces together to make solid pictures, oxidising the lines leaves it looking almost like its been drawn with a beautiful frosted finish. Fully hallmarked, and coming with a chain length of your choosing, each piece is hand made to your order.
